Working Principle
AC voltage stablizer employs a negative feedback or servomechanism to regulate the position of the wiper of the auto transformer. Whenever the mains voltage rises leading to the rise in output voltage, the wiper is moved in a way so as to minimize the output voltage to a normal range.
Types of AC Stabilizers
There are various types of AC Voltage stabilizers used for various purposes. Some of the AC stabilizers include:
- Vertical Type Single-phase AC Stabilizer
- Three-phase AC Voltage Stabilizer
- Fully-automatic AC Voltage Stabilizer
- Hanging-style AC Voltage Stabilizer
- High Accuracy Full Automatic AC Voltage Stabilizers
- SVC Three Phase Voltage Stabilizer
- Manual AC Voltage Regulator
