Alternator Protection Panel

Alternator protection panel is an electrical control panel that is primarily used on for Duplex pump application which requires automatic alternation of the pumps for extra protection. These panels are widely used in residential and commercial applications. They can be used with both single phase pumps and three-phase pumps.

Product Description

• Alternator control panels are provided with auto toggle-switch for each kind of pump.
• Provided with a built-in alarm system and silence switches.
• Circuit breakers are supplied with single phase panels.
• For three-phase pumps, these panels have motor protective switch having overload protection.
• Float switches are provided with single phase panels, but are not supplied with three-phase panels.

Working Principle
One of the pumps is meant for handling normal water flow. The second pump becomes functional with the continuous rise in water level. The alarm system can be connected in order to make a sound when the second pump starts functioning.
