Voltage variation is a common phenomenon and generally the voltage varies between 350 and 450 volts against normal required 400 volts during the day. The plating thickness varies proportionately with voltage variation. The plating process cycle is maintained by time duration in electroplating plant. So, when the input AC voltage is higher than normal, the plating thickness will be more than set standard thereby increasing the consumption of Nickel / Zinc.

Saving in Power Consumption
Similarly, net power saving per annum in the electricity bill due to 5% better efficiency with POWER'S rectifier equipment, will be as follows :-
Considering, 12v / 1000 better amps. capacity Rectifier running on 80% load will consume eleven units per hour. Suppose, plating plant works for 16 hrs. per day, total power consumption will be 176 units/ day.
